The Jay Ross Foundation is a non-profit organization launched on November 09, 2013 by Jeffrey and Keonna Ross and exists as a celebration of the life of Jeffrey "Jay" Ross, III. The mission of The Jay Ross Foundation is to provide assistance to families who must travel long distances for treatment of childhood cancers by working to continuously attract new supporters. We work to build a legacy of hope and strength in challenging times.

Our Focus

  • Creating Efficient and Impactful Initiatives Having experienced the challenges associated with treating childhood cancer we are intimately aware of needs these familes are facing. We seek to develop programs and initiatives designed to make the most impact in the lives of these families.
  • Creative Fundraising With our fall luncheon and spring marathon fundraisers, we are excited and motivated in engaging our community and raising awareness. We will actively pursue government grants in order to broaden our impact.
  • Broadening our Base of Supporters We intend to grow our network of donors who are willing to lend a helping hand and spread the word. We will do this by providing fresh content and connecting with our donors and keeping them abreast of the impact of their contributions.
  • Remaining Organized and Transparent As a non-profit organization, we are committed to keeping our overhead costs low and ensuring that all donations are used efficiently. 100% of the proceeds of our fall fundraising drive will be distributed to families.
