Board of Directors
The Jay Ross Foundation's Board of Directors governs the work of the Foundation. Our Board shapes the Foundation's direction through its mission, strategy, budget, and key policies; ensures that the leadership, resources, and finances in place match the Foundation's vision; and monitors and improves the performance of the organization. The Foundation Board meets frequently, as well as between the regular meetings as needed to conduct the Foundation's business.
Jeffrey Ross Jr.
President
Jeff serves as the president of The Jay Ross Foundation and was the proud father of little Jay. Jeff, along with his wife Keonna, created the foundation to honor his son and work to give a helping hand to the families in need. Jeff received his Computer Science degree from Florida A&M Univeristy in 2004 and has been a software developer for the past 10 years. He enjoys traveling and DJ'ing in his spare time.
Keonna Ross
Treasurer
Keonna serves as the Secretary and Treasurer of The Jay Ross Foundation and was Jay's mother. She works to
support the vision of the foundation by advocating on behalf of families and increasing the visibility of the foundation in the
community. Keonna received a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Florida A&M University in 2008. Her hobbies include biking and
volunteering at her church.
Melody Hinmon
Fundraising Coordinator
Melody is the foundation's Fundraising Coordinator and was Jay's grandmother. She is responsible for organizing and
implementing our fundraising initiatives. Melody has been employed with the USDA Farm Service Agency since
1992. Her hobbies include traveling and writing poetry.
